IMPACT

ree

Achieve Green is a Rising Stars/Tremco CPG program that creates avenues for young people to gain the skills and perspective needed to pursue a career within the green construction sector.Through hands-on training and strategic partnerships, Achieve Green paves the way for equitable access to meaningful opportunities in the growing clean energy industry—the future of construction.

Currently there are two pathways with additional ones in development:

  1. A pre-apprenticeship pathway into the International Union of Allied Tradespeople (IUPAT) and Finishing Trades Institution of New England as a glazer or weatherization technician, and

  2. An energy auditor/assessor pathway utilizing continuing education through Roxbury Community College and the Northeast Home Energy System Alliance (NEHERS) training programs.

Participants are paid throughout the program and also receive career navigation and career coaching through Julius EDU.

Funded by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MASSCEC) Workforce Equity Grant, Achieve Green kicked off its mission in March 2023. Eight students have graduated from the Pre-Apprenticeship pathway track from the 2024 and 2025 cohorts. Additional students are pursuing the energy auditor pathway in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 Sessions.
